Bali has a tropical climate appropriate to its proximity to the equator. Year round temperatures average 31 degrees Celsius. High humidity can be expected during the Wet Season between the months of October – April. The Dry Season between the months of May – September have the lowest humidity.
May is usually the hottest month in Bali with an average temperature of 28°C (82°F) and the coldest is January at 26°C (79°F) with the most daily sunshine hours at 9 in April. The wettest month is January with an average of 90mm of rain.
Balis mountain areas are typically cooler than the coastal areas, temperatures can drop at night to 15°C in some of the higher areas.
Although Dry season is considered high season in Bali and is the time where Bali receives the most visitors, its not uncommon for it to rain during dry season and stay dry during wet season!
